Three years ago I was looking for a compact stereo system, which can also play Internet radio via Wi-Fi. The selection was very manageable, many devices had only a LAN connection. The investment of 250 Euro I thought about plenty, then quickly ordered this device. The first impression was great. The plant looks really chic, the first start-up (FM radio) was quick and easy. Big plus: despite the relatively small size of the device of sound to my ears is better than me. The playback of CDs is running properly and in great sound quality. Now I brought the box to the grid. The wireless configuration is a bit cumbersome, because each character of WPA keys are only sought with up / down, and must then be confirmed. Here you should set aside a few minutes time - this must happen not only be done once. A bit disappointing: The structure of the wireless connection takes every time quite long, about 30 - 40 seconds. The setting of Web radio stations via the Grundig-website on which the serial number of the system is to be registered. The station selection is huge. What I could not find out until today: Accesses the system each time you access the Internet Radio on the Grundig-server, or the stations are stored in the device ...? At first scenario of course I can only hope that Grundig not eventually shut off the server, then the device would be more or less for me worthless. Yet a little disappointment, the connections. Besides antenna, LAN, USB and headphone output you are looking for, unfortunately in vain for Line-in or out. Still, all in all a great device, and the acquisition, I have not looked back since.
