After the first few sandwiches I can tell (some points determined, already mentioned several times):
+ Sandwich is not shared
+ Also suitable for the "American Toast"
+ Toasts can be filled by the good form of heating plates einsackende
+ By the inwardly extending square pattern of the heating plates, the sandwich as opposed to "shell shape" around completely "sealed"
+ Heating plates heat up quickly and cool again quickly (Preparation time from turning on and covering ca. 5min)
+ Stable closure by engaging nose
+ Lid has a mind of its own weight.
+ Cleaning of the heating plates virtually unnecessary. I blow off only the crumbs
Of course, this is a sandwich maker and not a "croque-monsieur-Maker". When evidence is to be noted that the cheese is placed in the center and not close to the edge, where it will be phased out. I've taken only the big slices of toast and sometimes topped with halved Viennese and cheese - nothing has leaked. You have to fold down the lid only on the sandwiches and light on it press during baking. The moisture evaporates and toast in a few minutes I was able to lock the lid completely.
The cable length is for our kitchen OK. The forms condensation is normal I think. Someplace moisture must go somewhere? The only real Kritipunkt: In the pack is Cool Touch Housing. The cover is apart from the bottom portion but quite hot. Well I take it on anyway at the intended plastic handle.
All in all a super buy for a bargain price!
