Great display and quite fast, but .....

First, the positives: The diplay is really great. Even the pace is quite fast, but I booting takes a little too long - and the unit is off important because the battery consumption in standby is not without. In general, the term lags behind the manufacturer's instructions. After than 4 hours and watch surfing photos was (of course previously fully charged) Battery empty.
And now the really serious weak points: The Tablet 15 apps are pre-installed, which are utter nonsense in my eyes. That would tollerierbar if you could remove it - but does not go, only a deactivation is possible, while the already scarce space is unnecessarily consumed pointless. This is particularly annoying because apps can not be moved to the SD card. If one wants to use the tablet as Navi, the 16 GB memory which is occupied to a third of the system is not enough, simply. The SD card can therefore only be used to store audio and video data - and it should get there also not easy. Instructions for I have not found anywhere.
Acer is unfortunately like many companies with utter self-evident assumption that you have a PC with Windows 8 operating system and does so as if it were not for the Linux world. PC software for Linux there is not so and the USB communication via MTP works on Linux only with my desktop computer rather unreliable, with the laptop, however, did not, even though both have the same installation (with my smartphone, however, it goes without problems). Last for Wi-Fi reception, which is quite modest, so I have about 5m next to my access point only about 50% signal strength and in between there is not a wall but only a wooden table.
Conclusion: The device seems perfect for people who want to open an account with as many providers on the Internet and vast amounts of personal data disclose or want to make their private lives on display. In order to make productive use of the work seems to me the Tablet unfortunately unsuitable.
