The dimensions of the envelope:
20,5x14,5x2,5cm
The Internal dimensions are somewhat flexible. The tablet is also held in addition to the brackets by a magnet.
The maximum dimensions of the tablet should be:
Height: 19.5, Width: 12.5cm, thickness: unclear, I would say up to max. 1.2 or 1.3 cm but here is the shell flexible.
My tablet is 18,6cm long and only 11cm wide and still find a very good grip.
The keyboard itself looks is very valuable, and is held by a magnet. The bracket is very good, the keyboard is difficult to dislocate. The keyboard is small, but for me (M, 182cm, medium sized hands) still operate with 10 fingers. Is connected via Bluetooth, the connection works very simply. The layout is not 1: 1 with a normal German keyboard coincident. Of the umlauts is only the east than normal button available (dont ask me why), the umlauts ä and ü are stored behind another key and must be activated by pressing the Fn button. There is also a @ symbol, but I am still not as clear as this button is triggered, works at least not on the FN key.
Initially have with me the umlaut does not work, but you have selections in Android in the Android settings as a German keyboard layout, then all the buttons work properly immediately. In addition, there are still some tablet-specific buttons, such as a button to turn the screen on or off, to get a key to the home screen etc ..
When closed, the two lower brackets are directly on the keyboard, that is on the lower side there is no direct contact between keyboard and tablet. At the top there are no brackets (Tablet as they say additionally held by a magnet) and there is then the tablet directly at the keyboard to. The keyboard is generally made of plastic, that there should be no Zerkratzungen, but at least a screen overlay is recommended.
The flap to close the keyboard so you can bend it in the open state with the magnet on the back that gives a stand, this can be the tablet also back at the table and herrücken without it falling over. (The Stand the old keyboard was not so stable, and kept falling to)
Conclusion: All in all, very well made, the shell and the keyboard. When closed, the cover makes a very good impression. Through the flap over the entire length, the tablet is also well protected. It is (in contrast to many other cases) to a pure 7 inch casing, ie this is probably not suitable for 8 inch tablets. In this respect, this shell is slightly smaller than the 7-8 inch hybrid envelope. The keyboard is for me anyway almost pleasant in this envelope. In this shell some function keys have been saved (eg a whole series F1-10 keys), so far has the smaller number of keys more space. A few more buttons (the umlaut at least) would have been helpful, in terms of size but you have to probably take a cut in.
Did the keyboard so far only a few hours, but as far as she makes a good impression of me there is a buy rating.
If I find an error or the like, there's an update ..
