An excellent and original rewriting of the history of the Americas, supported by a juxtaposition of styles (3rd person in 1929, Yazoo personal account and campaign diary for Smith) perfectly mastered and a very present humor. A great escape and although the outcome may to some extent leave a sense of unfinished business, mostly because we want to continue to share the adventures of Leake.
