Great Formula 1 game - much more than just an "update"

After F1 2010 yes in my opinion was an extreme disappointment, I had actually of F1 2011 only a small update expected. Because I had F1 2010 then rated 1 star!
But it is much more than that! F1 2011 in my opinion in the right areas has been improved.

Graphics:
The area is unchanged and has possibly slightly deteriorated. The graphics plays in the field racing games are still at very high levels, but I looked the better my F1 car in F1 2010. They were sharper detail. Route default, it has remained the same well. Note 2 ...

Atmosphere:
Really great, you like a Formula 1 driver feels. It has as last year an engineer of a radio are helpful tips, a paddock may, giving interviews, you get contract offers from other teams and races are action-packed! More on that later ... Note 1

Sound:
The sounds have been improved significantly. The engine noise and shifting sound now much more authentic. Unfortunately you can hear the declutching during braking as in the real Formula 1 not ... Note 2

Driving physics:
That was in F1 2010 even the biggest gripe with me. Arcade Game, unrealistic moves weird, those comments, there were many and they were right! Everything has changed, a quantum leap!
It has really made of pure arcade driving physics simulation instill! Who anlässt all aids, can certainly go quite well with keyboard. Because it really is the purest arcade.

But it turns the potion Transportation control of or is it only means that will change abruptly! Without TK it's pretty tricky, just to accelerate from slow corners without spin out. Finally there is no ESP or ASR unabschaltbares regulates more! Gorgeous! The wheels spin, a giant step forward! Owner of a steering wheel can register here fortunate, because it is really not easy to rein in over 800 hp at the rear axle!
After some practice, you can take many turns in slight drift or slide, thus gaining time against riders with TK. And it's really fun, the ride is decent, the car is predictable and you get confidence quickly.
However, the steering is still not as razor sharp as in rFactor. Because you feel then but that there's a power steering in the background erased small mistakes. But that is just under.

I say this I know what is right simulation because I drive a few years F1 simulations, the last few years with several F1 rFactor mods. So I would say if rFactor would 100% simulation, would F1 2011 about 60% in the area reach driving physics. This is only for without TC or severely restricted driving aids. Otherwise it remains a pure arcade game.
But that's a good thing, for both sides slightly. Therefore, grade 3!

Statistics / Replays:
Unfortunately, in short supply. If you want to see again former race results, Quali Fing etc. during the season, all gibs not! Too bad, nothing Statistical freaks. Fastest laps, the highest top speed, all absent. Replays are also not stored, it can only directly after the race watch the replay, saving it as well as it later again, not possible. Pity pity pity ... Note 6!

KERS + DRS / motor programs:
SUPER implemented! I was afraid to do so a boost scrap as in the NFS series where you think his brain slaps against the headrest no! The car is KERS a little faster, but in the real world dimensions. DRS is also super realized. Both systems are employed as a strategic tool. KERS should press only when the wheels can slip no longer (up from 5th gear) otherwise you finally not get the additional horsepower on the road. Even the DRS use should be undertaken with caution. Once too soon opened the rear wing in the curve and then immediately comes the stern.
Who pushes open the wings earlier and simultaneously directs against immediately, as can be rausholen time. The engine programs are implemented noticeable. With normal mixture you get exactly over the race distance. But if you go upscale difficulty you have to change often necessarily the engine program. HUGE! When Qualyfing off you go, the race engineer makes pressure, pushes you to go faster. Also in the race: You have one more round to overtake the guy in front of you, just one more turn! The whole is partly a bit demanding and aware also talked seriously. This increases the pressure, of course. The wet races are now the madness. We see nothing in the spray when directly in front of someone. One can only guess everything and has the seconds on the gas nearly include up to braking point and then hope that it is correct. It has a clear advantage when driving in the rain in front, as in real life.
When the safety car comes out is jumbled, like in real everything. People go into the box, then closes it, and know only afterwards where you stand. Very cool!

Bugs:
When pure gamble everything seems to be bug free, nothing could be discovered. However, I have to switch the controller keyboard to the steering wheel every time the game starts. Although only 2 clicks, but a bit annoying and should have been noticed in the test phase. The load times between the lines are very long. Until such a route loaded it takes before 1-2 minutes. But then at least everything runs super smooth!

Conclusion: The game is just a lot of fun! Hardcore simulation fans will now be compensated if you turn off the driving aids. Anyone can now decide for themselves whether they want to go 100% arcade or at least 60% simulation. The graphics and the atmosphere is amazing. Gone with sensationalism particularly KERS and DRS and the thing with the engine programs were implemented very seriously!
4 stars for this great game, the last 1 star I can not give, because I lack all possibilities for Stattistiken. So I'd like the 5th race again look like my constant race pace in the 1st or 2nd round of the season was. Unfortunately that's not possible. I do not understand. Also Replays are later no longer available.
