Proof of the pudding? Time the lively-massive "Shots", the lightweight "It Comes Back To You" and the heavy "Dreams" in succession to hear: that's all unmistakably "Imagine Dragons" and yet all very individually. There are an incredible number of facets, intelligent harmonies and original arrangements inside. But in spite of musical finesse: the band applies indeed as radio friendly and quite commercial, and is in a very positive way and it remains that too, because a handful of catchy tunes can also be found on "Smoke + Mirrors" all.
Worth the Deluxe Edition with five additional tracks? Definitely yes - if only because "Warriors" is not it on the standard output. But besides that, the level remains high until the very end and deliver 18 tracks without a hint of boredom, the need to fix first.
