Great headset with poor micro

I love playing online games and since my old headset has given up the ghost thought it was time for a new "wireless" device.
One ahead ... now that I was in the enjoyment of a headset wirelessly times I want this never to miss. Just awesome.

But the actual product:

1) Packaging and Shipping
The packaging as always, Amazon well packed and timely delivery.
The headset itself also safe and stored in a well protected cardboard.

2.) processing / optical
This thing looks really good and makes a high impression. Nothing wobbles or seems unstable. Even a couple of spare earpads are. Some attribute the headphones were too tight and it would press, the impression I can not confirm, I find they fit perfectly.

3.) Use / Connection
So the headset can be easily put into operation. The transmitting station in the USB plugs and ready. PC recognizes it without any problems and you can start within one minute. In particular, the control of the headset is a hit thanks to the handy remote control. Search No key assignments, or the headset from your head to take the volume control to search. With the remote control super easy. All functions are one and are done with NEM button: volume up, volume, TS or games sound Ã'ndern, mute, ... Absolutely awesome!

4.) The Headphones
So I have to say I'm not a music fan and use the headset for play. And here I can only say there's nothing to complain about for me personally. The game sound comes across well and my team-mates from the TS are clearly understood. However, I am to be able to evaluate the performance really no Soundfetischist but subjectively absolutely fine with me.

5.) The microphone
Not the best but in the case of the worst in the end and herewith also the reason why I have to Thurstmaster reluctantly send back. No one understands ONE! Despite increasing the microphone volume in Windows, the TS and the headset itself to max. you can hardly hear me. I keep very quiet rÃ'ber so that interaction with other hardly been possible. It also makes an extremely tinny sound.

But even an explanation. The microphone is detachable, which is also good because you can not work it is to side or generally has a very limited range of motion. Here, in my opinion the problem lies. Not only that it be adjusted only slightly läߟt it holds the position not right but always moves back to starting position. It can thus not be adjusted optimally for the user. When I hold the microphone with one hand constantly at the right angle in front of my mouth It's also the volume and one understands me. The microphone has therefore probably only a limited target area. But since you do not permanently can hold the microphone in the right position the headset is not usable. Therefore, the microphone is an absolute knockout criterion.

Conclusion: If you're lucky and the headset microphone fits into its origin or starting position to a perfect then you get a really great device the way you want läߟt. When the microphone but not perfect paaߟt ... then you can just send it back.
