The host adapter has been recognized by my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (N8000) immediately, but unfortunately not a single connected device has worked. We tested several USB mice, USB flash drives, hard drives with external power supply, keyboards, etc.
For these reasons, the adapter went back and I'm going to buy at the earliest opportunity once a original Samsung for testing.
