In short, the protective covering of HOOMIL met my expectations:
o good fit
o easy assembly and disassembly
o good look and feel (reminiscent of the B2700 from Samsung)
I particularly like that the silver rim is now gone and my S5 completely "shines" in black
Even the S5 is now clean on the table, seeing the camera Knubbel on the back disappears into the protective sleeve.
The front, slip-cover is provided with a rotatable belt clip.
Great idea, but the belt clip interfere unless just the display should be protected ...
Therefore, I have the belt clip away. Is very simple:
First, carefully pull off the Samtkleber inside the display protection.
Then pry off from the front through the belt clip round the cover upwards.
Then together the exposed lugs of the lower part with a pair of pliers and
press down. Thus, the belt clip is removable.
What remains, is a display cover, which has a hole in the middle and
the catches of the rotary mechanism of the belt clip shows. For me, no problem!
The Aufstellmechanik is bad and good ...
Perpendicular is really shaky, horizontally rather stable
A little surprised I was that certified for IP67 smartphone
waterproof Umtasche included ;-)
Even more surprised I was that this bag is damaged,
which me for a first simple pressure test at the water tightness
raises doubts ...
All in all, however, the case for me a great, visually appealing and
affordable protection for my Samsung Galaxy S5.
