Had the small boxes first bought for my Raspberry Pi and was immediately impressed! For the money they are just great! They are perfect, noise and hardly sound very clear. Well, they are not bass miracle, but if you placed directly on the desk in front of him, they are much better than if you use in-ear-plugs. Have they therefore bought again for desktop use.
