I can confirm the initial evaluation only: A great device with a super picture, but unfortunately with quirks! 1. Macke: Huge halos in all corners that stand little during normal daily operation, but disturbing example when watching a movie with dark passages clear. 2. Macke: My first instrument was always short glitches (= black screen) sometimes even short distortions, but at times were really disturbing. Therefore, I have contacted the Asus Support. The Support deserve an extra praise! After a week, my unit was picked up at home and I got it for a new one.
Otherwise, I can attest to the device only pluses: 1. Super Menu driven 2. Very pleasant, bright image 3. Many inputs 4. USB 3.0 HUB 5. Mechanical pleasant handling (No screwing the base plate), rotatable in all directions.
