the camera is indeed connected to the mains but it saves battery consumption, you can ask it or fix it on a wall
we clearly see both day and night, which is very nice!
the sound works fine too and the camera reacts even if the sound in the baby's room is light
the monitor has a good battery, the screen is not very big (I will love a little bigger), but very light and easily transportable with a foot that can put it on a table, and also a power cord to put it around the neck.
The transmission is super here, relatively thick plasterboard walls but no cutoff worries, we even tested our neighbor downstairs from us and no cut too. by cons it may indeed be some interference with devices such as box, micro wave oven but we have not had to worry us
great little device very reassuring for parents especially for a first baby, to avoid getting up to any noise or just to watch and sémerveiller on her baby without disturbing!
