I bought this product on my Ipad to store multimedia content (movies, music). The product is easy to configure and WIFI connection is very fast. It can also be a gateway connection to internet.Pas really tested yet. Too bad that the transfer is not in USB3. The hull is made of plastic and a bit "cheap". Then I tried to play a movie with their imposed reader in the app. Mkv movie, forget because no sound, film avi, like some in sound and depending on the encoding. In summary, their app is null and too limited run codec. I was ready to return it to Amazon as too restrictive to manage and I saw a recommendation that the Minivince configured NAS or TIME CAPSULE with FileBrowser app. I bought this app on AppStore 5.49 and there the drive Transcend is a wonder because FB allows to see the content of the disc and especially to execute the Ipad app that you want according to the file. And for my films, I read with VLC. In summary, excellent material provided but their app is null and you have to install a third party application.
