Great program with only small deficits ...

The first version of Music Maker I bought about 13 years ago. (Music Maker 6 was the I think)
Have since every now and then a later version of the program purchased. (Ie definitely not every year a new ...)

I would just give the current program in 2015 5 stars because it really is very good, and super easy to use.
However, I would like to put forward the negative points in this evaluation. So each buyer can make your own picture to the program. (See also the rating for MAGIX Music Maker 2015 PREMIUM!)

The test computer running Windows 8.1, 16GB of RAM, Intel Core i7 3.2GHz 4702MQ ..

The negative point:
Unfortunately, the program crashes (or "freeze") are normal. This now takes place in MAGIX for 13 years on all versions of Music Makers by. No idea what the programmers do here and what the get your money. But that you do not get this problem under control is more than annoying! (Close program via Task Manager !!!)
Actually you should deduct for all stars.
BUT. Who knows the problem become accustomed to certain usage patterns. (So ​​say every 2-4 minutes short to save the project.) While this is for one or the other a little annoying, but you get used to it. So I also.

For the Music Studio I have no use personally.

Conclusion:
Were it not for the crashes of the program would be here 5 Stars applicable. You get to be a great program that offers many possibilities. The suggested retail price of about 60 is very good. The current range of under 54 is really good. Since you can not complain.

Compared to MAGIX Music Maker 2015 Premium:
I got to test the Premium version. The basic platform is of course the same!
It has about 6000 sounds rather than 3000 sounds. A complimentary 1000Sounds package contained.

In general you can work well but also with the regular program. Premium need or not ... ;-)
The Premium version costs MSRP 100 which is a bit more than 60. At present, however, there's discount.
From my perspective, the normal version is perfectly adequate!
