Great quality and the accessories, only the aerator can cause problems!

I decided after some research for this Focus Single lever.
Something made me suspicious of the notice in some reviews that this faucet is intended for small washbasins.
Our vanity has a width of 60 cm and the old faucet was now not necessarily bigger?
The Grohe mixer tap was from a plumbing professional with installed (usually I do it myself), because our vanity was replaced (insured event ...).
After my question whether you would normally use for larger tap for these vanities, he denied this, saying that the Grohe have normal size.

The quality is really outstanding, the design we see very well done (we also had the Grohe "Start Edge" to compare ordered, the looks, for our taste, not quite as good ...).

In addition, when "Focus" all included accessories are also of very good quality.
The waste is from verchomten metal and not as in the "Start Edge" chromed plastic (it shows on time ...).

Only the "Eco-mania" with the corresponding thereto aerator, the but significantly reduced the flow rate, can be one or the other (like us) problems with bringing water heater / boiler.
Our gas water heater now switches on only when the lever is fully set to hot water.
With the old valve tap the gas boiler switched already in middle position (and here was also an aerator installed).

In this class, you should have at least one alternative (such as with Grohe shower heads) enclosed to the flow rate adjust if necessary.

So I'm going to the additional purchase of a get around "more lavish" not aerator ...

Conclusion:

The Hansgrohe Focus single lever basin mixer is definitely of very good quality.
The accessories is very high.
Only the (for our needs) to exaggerated economical aerator tarnishes little joy but that can be corrected.
Overall, highly recommended!
