At first I was very skeptical as to whether such a small light sufficient to illuminate a book and asked me if such a reading lamp is not bothersome.
But now I'm really surprised and my Lumi reading light came very frequently used.
Mainly I use it for my Kindle, because I then made the mistake and bought myself a Kindle pocket without reading lamp. Although you can read wonderful on the e-ink screen, but you need faster an additional light source, as is the case with a 'real' book.
*** The main functions of Lumi reading light ***
On the one hand it is very handy and incredibly handy.
The slightly rubberized surface and ergonomic shape make it not only visually an eye-catcher but also to preserve the hand.
Equipped is the reading light with 3 LED lamps, the really very strong light, and two long-life lithium batteries (button cells).
The right and left swiveling lamp head (45 °) can be inside the book illuminate exactly as you need it straight.
Since the total height is approximately 10.5 cm, the reading light is also suitable for thick tome.
*** Thus, the reading light is applied: ***
The application is really easy. With a flexible clip the reading light can be connected to any cover image, whether paperback or hardcover, are attached. And the best: the clip leaves behind no ugly marks!
In this position, the light switch of the Lumi is on the back of the book and can be switched on with just one hand and turn or you can, thanks to the dimming function, select one of the two levels of brightness.
*** Small gripe ***
Although convinced of is me the Lumi-reading light, I have to complain about a little thing. Because the light has sporadically a loose connection.
I use the lamp now since about a month and it has turned off twice independently. I think that's not so bad, but I would like to briefly point out.
*** Conclusion ***
A really great and trendy reading lamp illuminates the entire interior of the book. Although it has tiny weaknesses, I am satisfied.
