Although Elliot ST is no right brand, but only (as far as I know) a fire sale of a German distributor, (probably produced by the Czech manufacturer Ocun) are the slings unlike the carabiners, really great. I have two dozen in the length 30cm, 60cm, 80cm, 120cm and 240cm in addition, each width of 16mm.
The width of 16mm is very pleasant to handle, also the material has a pleasant feel, it is soft and flexible, can be well node and solve again. I prefer the slightly wider 16mm nylon slings against the hyped Dyneema material. Dyneema slings are usually already so narrow that they are more likely to cut, and they are also usually much stiffer, among which also suffers the Knotability. Polyamide also has the advantage of a significantly higher melting point at frictional heat. Because these loops are so flexible that they can, if necessary, quite suitable for Prusikknoten on the rope. Despite the robustness, the weight is still ok.
This set is a good and cheap compilation, in conjunction with a carabiner has already improvised a sling ladder. With two of these sets one is already fundamentally equipped for climbing with slings. Longer you need to only compile the attachment points, but I prefer, however, prefer even more loops with 25mm. I use the Elliot ST loops very happy, as a matter of security, for material or auxiliary construction not only climbing,
