Here's a good little machine to start in the world of personal servers.

For the price of a basic NAS, see here have a real home server capable of much more than a NAS everything, and has 5 discs locations, see 7 if you're a little handyman.

It is relatively quiet.
It does not consume much more than a NAS.

Coté performance is not a monster but it is very adequate for all OS, Linux Windows, Freenas, Ubuntu ....

It can even serve as the main PC if you just office automation and internet navigation.

A very good material.

Very good packing Amazon fortunately, because the position is not very sensitive ...
