Great, very ecological unit with slight rudimentary design weaknesses

Overall I am impressed much more from the strengths of the device in this price league and the admittedly small existing weaknesses.

Unique strengths:

In my opinion, in this price range, the picture is really top. The 3D feature is really vivid and as far as one can say such a thing at all, authentic. The power consumption seems to me exemplary, the heat generated by the device, as well as wall mounting is to be described as low. Connected media (game console, PC, DVD / Blu-ray players, etc.) have also all a very nice and sharp image. The sound from the internal speakers (wall mount) is very good, voice, and music are well developed and very understandable.

By means of various selectable imaging options (of course, film, football, etc.), you can select its preferences and viewing habits easily. The very narrow scope, about 15 mm wide, the device makes the wall extremely slim and sexy.

The picture is of course up to the corners very sharp.

The extremely low weight of 8.1 kg makes wall mounting a breeze.

Particularly simple, I feel, for example, the recording of current program when the TV. USB Stick connect to one of the USB ports on the side, possibly even reformat briefly pressed record button on the remote control and immediately start recording. 8GB eg rich in HD channels at least for a little more than 80 minutes of recording time.

Further strengths are actually listed in the complete functional description of the device, unless I have it listed explicitly in the small weaknesses.

I myself have used course not all the options that includes this device. The ordinary viewing distance is at least me> 3 m and I miss anything because this unit (second unit) is used with me not as a typical movie playback device (Full HD Blu-ray). The image size is for me so well from just under 3.5 m not too small; it go no details are lost (ticker at certain channels or teletext presentation)

Small weaknesses:

I am yet to come across so that the remote control with another electronic device (brand: devil) apparently interact, so when serving of certain buttons on the TV remote control, this unit activates abruptly or settings (volume, media selection, transmitter frequency, etc.) are altered. Something came to me so far in electronic devices not yet available.

The main remote itself is both true compact, but not very easy to use with no light because the extremely large number of keys (which) have the same design (haptics). Since you already slips away times. Only high / low and the channel selection stand out really well in the dark significantly. These two keys, as well as the on / off button, the 5 on the numeric keypad and the on screen menu activation are also marked blind justice.

When wall mounting the unit that is already more than just a bit cumbersome. Because I would have liked to see at least one laid this connection jack on the side or the bottom edge.

Instead of a possibly even 15-pin D-SUB connector, known as VGA computer connection, you have now the option to a computer to an HDMI port using an adapter to connect to buying from DVI to HDMI. If your computer already has an HDMI output you can go directly to the device, of course, TV.

But apparently indestructible are probably the clunky connections in the form of a SCART connector for connecting devices such as prehistoric video recorder (LOL)

Overall, it is advisable, in my view, at least. Three of the located on the rear connections in use to equip means angled adapter plug (LAN network cable (RJ 45 connector)) (alternatively you can also use the wireless option ); the 3.5 mm jack for the headphones output and an HDMI adapter for DVI computer port, so that the connections then run behind the TV straight down, as higher-quality cables with good shielding usually are usefully constructed at the ends of the cable to the proper connector fairly stable and directly after the plug can not be willed simply turn. Otherwise this works with the flat end of the TV on the wall with wall mounting not really properly perfect.

The manual of the TV itself shows example only symbolically, what devices can be connected to the TV set, but not where exactly is the intended port itself.

This is somewhere still in the process, a separate one-pager / flyer as compressed Din A5 sheet. Would be nice if it all would have been structured logically and available in a document.

The PIP (Picture in Picture) function, for example, although there is, however, not allow, as usual, first of all, two TV to view TV channels simultaneously (main picture and sub-picture), but only an external source or Samsung smart option as a main picture and a TV station in a freely definable window as a side image.
Since one should look exactly as a buyer, if it is what you would expect as a PIP function.

Overall, the manual is quite thick (> 230 pages), but many things are not absolutely clearly described by studying the handbook really understand, so the function of connectable USB medium to record programs (should the TV be turned on to; how exactly does the Time Shift function for recording future programs;. how does a medium such as an external USB hard drive then electricity, etc .. merely mentions that the hard drive at least 5400 U / min should bring as a prerequisite and a separate power supply for "useful" would. (make sense?!?!?!)

This one must therefore try necessarily practical because the procedure is described by way of example only rudimentary and much is vorausetzt seemingly intuitive to knowledge. As a simple and comprehensible through Step by Step description of each feature on a real example would have been much more helpful, since the preliminary study the manual before buying, the prospects do not really informed clearly and exhaustively and eliminate any ambiguities

I I'm admittedly not very picky about the weaknesses.
One older Samsung LED TV 6000 Series device (46 inches), which I still have also the description in the manual, was concerning. Clearly because of good and better.

The functionality of the device is now however seemingly slaying, so that all possible options of a function, of course, exhaustive detail may be set out in all consequences, because certainly no one would completely work through a 1000 pages long manual in the form of an old phone book.

Intuitively, the TV is set but, in my view after switching to use immediately.

The quality of the device, used with me as cable tv points, prevails despite my view small weaknesses but so clear that I like it abgebe 5 stars and a unique purchase recommendation.
