But now the EA4500.
Installation went very well, took a little longer than the Asus because I've configured with Asus in the web interface.
After installation, I was very enthusiastic about the surface from Cisco, everything very clear and great to use.
The speed in the WLAN is comparable to that of RT-N66, here I could not detect any differences. But the connection was stable, that I have no problems with Xbox and the 2.4Ghz range.
Visually see the Cisco course already better, which is a little criterion at least when the device is in the living room.
What surprises me is generally somewhat the scope, I have neither the RT-N66 even with the EA4500 a greater range than with my old Dlink. Of course, the speed of the two devices is the old Dlink clearly superior, but in terms of reach, I had hoped for a little more.
Conclusion:
For me, the EA4500 is a great device, fast, stable and with a top service. Compared to RT-N66 there is no Xbox problems and he is more stable. The range is not better than the old equipment - for me but sufficient, since the entire apartment is abegedeckt.
I can only recommend the device.
Update 14.09.2014 **
Now the router is quite a while in operation and what is gradually notice that the WiFi connection ever increased, that is, when you open a new page, there is now a "pause for thought".
The web interface I found initially quite nice - now it sucks just yet, because it is very slow and there are many mistakes in the form that just made will not be accepted.
Currently, I have tried for 2 hrs an external 2.5 "hard drive to connect - a disaster !!! If I connect and you will be found, for once in the configuration - there is an ongoing error in the setting, such as activating the media server or shared folder in the web interface - annoying!
If it works for times and I was able to activate all the hard disk is already gone. Should it happen sometimes that's all configured and the disk also present you find neither the Sony TV or the PS3.
All in all, I would now be only 2 stars.
Thus I look times for a new router to!
