My satellite system has 2 Quad LNB with 4 outputs. This 8 cables which are guided by the LNB's for multi-switch I have provided with this surge protector. I mounted the surge protector at this 9-fold F-grounding block from Kathrein. The grounding block was in turn connected to the parabolic mirror, the LNB and multi-switch with a 16mm² Ground cable. Thus, a potential equalization of the components is given. The receivers, televisions and the multiswitches have been additionally connected to a surge protector socket.
The Kathrein 9-Erdungsblock very stable and has 9 F-plug connectors as well as a potential equalization connection. A 16mm² Ground cable can be connected without any problems. However, the ground wire should previously with a grounding lug (O-ring) are provided. The 9 F connectors are ideally suited to 2 Quad LNB's with a total of 8 ports and a terrestrial connection to occupy.

I am using the Kathrein 9-Erdungsblock I am very satisfied. The purchase price has me though did not like. Since this is a one time investment, you can cope with the relatively high price. The build quality is like most other components of Kathrein very good. I think the product has earned 5 of 5 stars!
