I've bought the Archos 5 2 months ago and was quite happy, beautiful design, lots of storage, great features and best of all: It's actually relatively cheap! Before purchasing I asked myself why this Media Player is probably so cheap, now I know it. The inner workings of the Archos 5 is very poorly finished. For the second time I had to find a loose connection to the headphone input, and since I'm not the only one! I found out the defect for the first time, I was still confident and traded to the Archos, the second time, with a new device, but I am sure that I do not again DETERMINED me an Archos 5. Conclusion: it's a nice media player, it is, however, at times poorly finished and a lot of people complain about the defect mentioned above.
