HDD / SSD SATA III Adapter Kit for Apple MacBook (Pro) 13 "15" 17 "- Caddy (replaced SuperDrive) + USB enclosure - 9.5 mm HDD carrier mounting frame (SATA to SATA) - TheNatural2020 (Personal Computers)
Installation I have done according to the instructions of Hrdwork. The Schrit step guide I could install the SSD without Porbleme. However, I do not understand why the HDD is recommended in all instructions instead of mounting the SuperDrive to install. In the original location, the HDD is protected by rubber mounts more against vibration. The SSD can be as much shaken as she wants and needs it at all. Can it be that the SuperDrive in MB Pro mid 2012 is not connected to SATA 3? That would be the only sensible explanation, because otherwise I would put SSD to replace the SuperDrive drive.
