I have carried out the installation of a R70Li last weekend, the following problems arose:
1. At HOME (acc. Sec. 3.9) command of R70Li first moves as described, to the guide wire and freezes for a moment just above and then rotates.

2. I have complied with all the recommendations / regulations and the verification of the loop (acc. Sec. 3.7) produces a permanent green light on the charging station. Only the Cape. 3.8 "Calibration" I started too early, as the front and the guide wire were not yet connected. Apparently only the R40Li there is the command "manual calibration" (acc. Sec. 6.6) in order to repeat the calibration. That's why I performed the test command (corr. P.50). This test run has correctly until the final of the guide wire at a distance of Corridor width (middle) performed at slow speed of R70Li.

... The problems described by you suggest to us that the rubber dampers of your Mähroboters, are possibly deformed by improper storage. This results in that the shock sensor is triggered permanently or only minimal irregularities and the mower is not always perfect place in the cradle. We therefore recommend the device directly or via your dealer for inspection / repair or exchange .... to send to us GARDENA Manufacturing GmbH.
