Do me the headphones mainly bought for my electronic drum set. I am very excited. Sonically, I was indeed very pleased by my Sennheiser PX100. Through its open and supra-aural design, but I could hear the sounds of rubber HiHats / pool. So I needed a closed KH. But none of the tested by me closed KH, including AKG K-271 and Beyerdynamic DT770, could convince myself phonetically correct. Both are unlike my Sennheiser PX100 much quieter and have for my purpose too little depth. Well due to the enclosed design.

The compromise: half open. The AKG K-240 has convinced me right away. Detail of sound AKG K-271 and a little more depth, but not bass-heavy. Here one must also not fully turn up the volume. This headset is so much fun. For me as a radio music lovers the sound quality leaves no wish unfulfilled.

Sits very well. The circumaural design is particularly suitable for those who wear glasses.

Whether for studio or Hi-Fi headphones, with this headset is true both the price / performance ratio as well as quality.
