Objectif Lune is probably my favorite album of Tintin. Probably because that is where he prepares his biggest adventure: being the first man to set foot on the soil of the Moon in the red grid rocket and white that the whole world can recognize. It is the interest of this album: all the preparations, the scenario, the longer term in the research center. Hergé neglects nothing to show us the Pharaonic work Sunflower and all space engineers. Sure there ressitue us in a Cold War context where the villains try to steal the plans for the experimental rocket ...
Space, espionage, humor (the Thompsons we still gratify some hilarious sequences well and Sunflower susceptibility crisis remain unforgettable), Objectif Lune is a truly successful album and intelligent.
To us the Stars!
