Customer Review

I remember exactly. It was on a holiday trip to (then) Yugoslavia. I was 13 or 14 and was sitting next to my best friend in the back seat. Of course, in a traffic jam. He had a brand new Sony Walkman (for the younger ones: as a part where you reinsteckt music cassettes ... does not matter). Then he gave me enough over the headphones and from then on, the worm writhed other way around for me (free after Sgt. Elias). I heard something about "Lock Up Your Daughters", "Oy, oy, oy" and a crazy guitar riff that my goose bumps up her arms and ran down and I was infected from that date, probably for the rest of my life. Headphones I have as good as no longer given away the next hour and rewound again and again: "See me ride out of the sunset."
This is now almost 30 years ago ...
And now there is "Rock or bust" in front of me.
Yes, a certain recognition value exists. There are still a gifted guitar virtuoso Angus Young and also a precise drumming Phil Rudd.
But all other radical?
Let's make it short: the band of my youth operates since 1980 with their last killer album Back in Black their swan song. After everything is average and mainstream.
Rock or Bust held High Voltage or Powerage and no cock would crow more today by AC / DC.
The album is boring, uninspired good rock and roll, like countless other bands also play him in this world, not the names of the AC / DC.
Because of this incredible goosebumps Feelings on that holiday trip and many others then I deliberately bought anyway all subsequent drives me then, knowing full well that it would never be the same again.
What you are an honest, decades supporter skirt or Bust So? Three points I think is fine. Because it is more correct and average good rock and roll, no-frills. But nothing more.
And if we are honest, we have always known it for a long time: The major albums of big bands are made of AC / DC on Iron Maiden, or currently also Pink Floyd, Metallica, Slayer, Pearl Jam, U2 and how hot it all.
It will never be the same time. For every beginning there is magic ...
