My old Brother who had now for 12 years in use now finally gave up the ghost, though still support without problems existed. When searching, I came across the HL-2250DN and was skeptical. Network and full duplex for the price? Well, Brother normally does not scrap therefore ordered. The decor was a matter of minutes and the installation on both Windows and Mac went smoothly and expeditiously. First printing tests and then brought astonishment. The prints are of high quality, and graphics and images creates the printer with a B / W laser amazingly good quality and speed. Printing via the network interface is done as expeditiously. Even setting this should be quite feasible even for laymen. The only drawback: The printer is a bit noisy, but this might be due to the duplex unit. It maybe one or the other could interfere. What is in some tests, which should be the printer built rickety, I can not confirm. Too bad, I also think that there is now no 6000 pages toner cassettes more.
Summary: + Very good print quality and speed. + Fast, easy setup (USB or LAN) + Great facilities at a good price (Duplex & network !!) + Full Linux and Mac support + Low power consumption - A bit noisy - For frequent printer: only relatively small toner cartridge yelow
