But what is a pity: the cable is specifed as 28AWG / 1P + 28AWG / 2C. That is, it does not load tablets and smartphones at the full speed of the original charging cable. The background is as follows:
- 28AWG +28 AWG cable standards for the "American Wire Gauge".
- The first refers to the data lines, the second on the power lines
- The most original charging cable are 28AWG 24AWG +
- 24AWG cables have according to the norm a larger cross section (!). Consequently there is less resistance. It flows, a higher charging current.
On Nexus 7 (2012) I can observe that: the original Asus charger (2 A) invites the Nexus 7 with original cable with 1550 mA. By Buysics cable it loads only with 905 mA.
Because of too thin power lines there are of me, therefore only 3/5 stars. I find it annoying that so important information is not in the product description.

UPDATE September 2014:
Buysics has responded and now a charging cable 24 AWG cables (1m cable) and 22 AWG cables (2m cable) in its range. I now have the new version of the cable. That the original test used Nexus 7 (2012) now invites at the full speed of the original cable of good 1500 mA. The higher charge currents are particularly relevant to tablets, as the bigger batteries will be charged normally with between 1,000 and 2,000 mA. The charging electronics can now refer to the new version of the cable without restricting the optimal charging current.
Visually appealing, the new cable to the original 28 AWG version are identical. I have tested several micro-USB cable in the meantime, while no other has achieved the feel of Buysics cable. In particular, the plug can make the difference.
Conclusion: if only a smart phone with full-sized battery would charge (well 2000 mAh), for the 28 AWG version is sufficient. Charging currents of 1000 mA are no problem. Who wants to load tablets or large batteries, should prefer the new version with thicker power lines access (24 or 22 AWG). Because of the improved version and transparent product description, there is now 5/5 stars.
