A very high quality Focusing this really Robust is made, but also brings a corresponding weight with it. If you keep these Focusing in the hands, you realize that this is a really solid device. The shiftable clamp budge without play on the track, and can be moved precisely over the knob on the rail. A little complicated, but it is certain the construction of the terminal. The Arca-Swiss compatible quick release plates must be pushed laterally into the terminal and then fixed on the knob. Something else how else knows that my simply can hang from above the plates and then to fix them. Also a pity that's how you (eg when Kirk FR-1) can not rotate the terminal. Macros with tripod collar such as the Canon 180mm where the matching quick release plate is not cross but along screwed.
I use the rail for macros as well but in some cases more than for panoramas Nodalpunktadapter in combination with a panoramic turntable.
All in all, a robust version with a very good price-performance ratio.
