As it should be in all good historical fiction, names known to appear as characters in the background or background from realism to the decor, and it concerns here Hermann Goering and Heydrich Reynhard. The appearance of these two latter gives weight to the narrative, without the author abused. I augur that fans of the beautiful "The alienist" by Caleb Carr, especially, will love "The Berlin Trilogy", as well as all those interested about Nazi Germany.
With the sophisticated "Grandoria" by Dominique Raymond Poirier, with a nearly similar climate in a country of Western Europe "fictitious" today and "Danse Macabre" by Kate Sedley (I read in English, this one), "The Trilogy Berliner" brings the thriller historical background and / or policy has a high level of quality. For example, if like me you are trying to view a map of the streets of Berlin before World War II, you will notice that the street names and descriptions of these in "The Trilogy Berliner" are ... accurate!
So I give it 5 stars without hesitation, failing to add one more to the historical research work done by the author to plant its decor.
