Since I find the Kabelferndbedienung the Companion 20 very stylish and I after the trial hearing in the business was not sure which of the two would suit me more I both ordered and am ultimately remained the Music Monitor because the Companion 20 for my taste far too dominant, booming Bass has.
In the first test with the new Companion I was however disappointed. On the same sound card (onboard Realtek) and no equalizer settings, etc., voices sounded on MusicMonitor® nasal and like a tube. Perhaps it is also the necessary "importing" - I have read in other reviews. I then reconnected to a card ASUS Xonar DG PCI and adjusted the equalizer to my taste. Now the Music Monitor sounds awesome and is the Logitech system about anything after that and at a fraction of the space required. The Bose are also even more clearly and you have the feeling to be in action.
The basses are more than adequate. If I did not know, I would look for the subwoofer under the table. More Bass needs of the average user hardly. On the contrary, even more bass would even bother me.
Read As in another review, it seems as if more bass perceive when a foot goes back.
Visually, the two small cubes are totally my taste - a high-tech piece of jewelery. So I imagine a modern and space-saving development in speakers - innovative technology instead of big wooden box under the table.
Who wants to read more reviews on the speakers; there are the identical product for a second time on Amazon with about 50 reviews; just try the search.
Tip: Since I now do not have a comfortable operating unit for the volume more and no keypad with dedicated volume buttons, I have the two Windows keys and the index key turned to "high / low" and "mute". That goes without additional software with two registry entries. Warning - the hex code exactly as typing without looking at the back there and make sure herspringende display.

First variant:
The left button (between and) to decrease the volume, the opposite key you will increase. Thus the occasional pretty practical button is not entirely displaced, should play their part at the top of the keyboard, the key is almost never used.
Here's how: Log on with administrator privileges to the system, run Regedit and open the key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Keyboard Layout".
Do not confuse the key to the right below, which reads almost identical, but an "s" at the end. In "Keyboard Layout" you create the new binary value "Scan Code Map." Double-click on the new value Enter this binary one:
0000000000000000040000005BE0460030E05CE02EE05BE000000000
Second variation:
Is also rarely used the button on the right side of the keyboard, and between. If you liked waiver is not difficult in this function, you can assign the key a function to mute: The slightly longer binary
0000000000000000050000005BE0460030E05CE02EE05BE020E05DE000000000
So this button works as on-off switch of the sound output, the buttons as volume control and a new Windows button. To use again the normal key assignment, delete the registry value "scancode Map" and restart the computer.
