The typeface is clean and sharp. Envelopes are printed on the individual feeder without problems.
It's just great to put all the documents in the document feeder and then to have them as a PDF or JPG file on the computer. Sometimes the documents are skewed. For important documents (eg certificates and documents) I put them directly on the scanner glass. Then there is not of this quality defect. In my Fima have we MFC devices that cost several times the Brother's. They do it no better.
The times for scanning I can not understand sometimes. Color documents 150dpi, 200dpi or be super fast scanning.
150 dpi is sufficient for the other online editing or archiving.
Who can scan in full resolution to complain about appropriate file sizes and scanning time. As Fotoscanner the Brother is not suitable. Maximum to scan photos in between.
The printer is fast. The Sleep Time of the printer can be set. For me, the printer goes after only one minute in the Sleep mode.
Nice is also the bundled software. The "PaperPort" provides comprehensive management of documents. Helpful I find the possibility to combine individual pdf's to a PDF file, or PDF's in order to change.
Conclusion: For my SMB, as an entry into self-employment, and for my limited means, the device is perfect.
For fax and network function, I can not make no statement. The MFC is connected with me via the USB interface.
