I tested in this order:
1. "Soehnle 63166 Gala XL Digital Bathroom Scale"
with 2x AAA / R3 (type?) batteries - Weighing range X -150kg (to instructions)
Features: 5 year guarantee (according to Amazon Shop), glass plate under plastic tread
2. "Beurer PS 240 soft grip scales, black"
with 3x AAA / R03 Zinc Carbon batteries - Weighing range X -180kg (to instructions), ca. 30x30x2cm, large, white illuminated numbers
Features: 5 year guarantee (to instructions), 50g display (is not the same accurate measurement)
I like it best in design. She also has the pleasant surface, which probably will not slip even when wet feet. At the same time it has the smallest footprint.
3. "TFA Dostmann 50.1001.54 jazz scales"
with 4x AAA / R03 Zinc Carbon batteries - Weighing range 5-150kg (to instructions), ca. 31x31x2cm, large, glowing red numbers
4. "Inventum PW420 digiale scales with convenient carrying handle" (digiale's not a typo by me, so it is in the Amazon Store)
with 4x AAA / R03 Zinc Carbon batteries - Weighing range X -180kg (to instructions), ca. 32x32x2cm, large, white illuminated numbers
I like it the second best in design. The handle is useful when it is under the cabinet and must be pulled as always.
5. "Tristar WG-2423 Personal scale"
with 1x CR2032 lithium button cell - Weighing range 2,5-150kg (to instructions), ca. 30x31x2cm, Medium, black numbers (LCD)
The Soehnle I have already returned. Therefore, I can no longer fall back for more tests and more accurate data on the. With the other 4 I made now again a common cradle Marathon. It then also became visible to what extent they differ when measured weight. However, I can not say what this is precisely because I do not have access to a certified scale.
All 4 are equally flat. The Soehnle looked fat and clunky in comparison to.
The display will remain for all 5 scales 10-12sek after weighing and go down to. Thus, a subsequent reading - for example when weighing a suitcase - no problem.
What really annoys me are the crappy zinc-carbon batteries, the manufacturers enclose their devices mostly. The EU regulates the curvature of bananas and the size of apples. This garbage it does not prohibit it.
When Beurer there is an indication for calibrating. The states that you should enter after the battery change and a change of location the scales first short and leave. Then she turns to 0.0 and goes out again. I therefore made all 4 equally.
When Inventum there is also an indication. However, it does not work as described in the instructions. One should set up and take down the foot shortly after inserting the batteries. Then it displays 0000 or ---- and switches off again. But it does not.
Only when Inventum there is an indication that one. After weighing, and if the scale has been switched off, to wait another 10sec before you weigh again As I noted a similar behavior by chance in TFA, I now made at each weighing a break of at least 15sec. By switching between the scales may be more.
When Beurer shows quickly, beautiful appearance, but nothing behind it. What good is the display of 50g if it is not measured. The scales measure the changed weight well, but after the ads anyway to the previous (stored) to spring back value. This I was able to multiply, actually constantly observed in the Soehnle and Beurer. In the Tristar that fishing area is significantly smaller. Here, the measurement was carried out then always quickly when the real value was only slightly changed, but also showed the previous value to continue.
Only when Inventum and the TFA I could see that these have really weighed again (after> 10 sec break).
I weighed myself three times. For reasons of space I have the lines here only allowed if there were differences. Otherwise is left which passages (a, b, c) had similar results. Unfortunately here can not create tables and tab stops or extra spaces will also be deleted.

As a result, each of the last three scales is better than the beautiful Beurer and in other reviews so highly thought of Soehnle.
I chose the Inventum. The deviations are here verschmerzbar, in contrast to the ignored weight changes in the other models. The Beurer Soehnle and make the extreme. The Tristar makes it only with small modifications. The TFA seems to be the least accurate when weighing in.
Thus, the Inventum from me receives 4 stars. 1 star, I prefer the following reasons:
The surface gives the impression as if it smoothes over time and then 'greasy' look. At 2 places on the edge of which can be seen after unpacking. The zinc-carbon batteries I take ill. This is pure environmental damage that would not be. And it weighs nothing under 5kg. Even with> 5kg I had to go on it that concerns them only with my weight.
The Tristar receives from me 3 stars. What I like: When> 5kg I can weigh directly and the value agreed well. At
The TFA also gets 3 stars. There deduction for the useless mirror surface that will look scratched quite fast because they at
The Beurer Soehnle and get me the only reason 1 star because 0 stars are not possible here. In the results, I need probably not need to explain.
Because of the reviews at many scales that they can not properly weigh on Carpet: This is normal and completely logical. Scales always need a solid (and straight) underground.
Please mints not automatically on all models of the brands. I am afraid that depends on the measuring system used differently for each model.
