Hopefully the solution to my problem

We are in front of a little more than a year moved into a newly built terraced house with a sealing concrete basement. Unfortunately, once again in the wrong places a bit saved and we have all over the house a living room ventilation, only in the basement not (unfortunately we have no heating there). In any case the basement last summer is so wet that have begun already become shoes and other things for molds with the neighbors. When we saw what's going on we bought hygrometer and in the summer try the moisture with proper ventilation (5-10min airing when outside humidity is true) but that has unfortunately only helped a bit, but nothing more.

We tried it with dehumidifiers granules but that was contracted labor of love (and money).

Now we have realized that it will not work without an electric dehumidifier, and we decided for this dehumidifier Duracraft.

When unpacking I immediately noticed that he has very smelled. It must be clearly aired only once before I put him with us in the room where the food is stored (I hope so the sugar is again a bit looser ...)

The dehumidifier is fully assembled, you just have to take from the water tank the enclosed water tube out, arrange a couple of tape and the dehumidifier is ready!

5 seconds after switching on the device indicates the humidity of the room. This is consistent with our recently calibrated analog humidity meter agreement that was equal time a positive surprise.

When setting you can adjust the one hand the target humidity between 40% and 80%. Here, the device would work as long until the desired goal is achieved. The unit does not just silent, but I would have imagined it louder. When the door is closed you can hear anything from the other side. I also have 2 electric heaters, they are even a little louder.

On my first attempt, the staff were not so ideal for the unit: 15 ° C in the room, 70% starting humidity. After 2 hours, I had a bit more than 200 ml, it has quite surprised me because it is very cold in the basement and not the optimum temperature because I had actually expected less, the humidity indicator has declined to 65%.

I pay 8cent per kWh what that means me the power for this unit would cost 38.4 cents a day which is manageable as long as it helps in the long term! Over the year, this would be 140 euros but then what would be a bit hard, but this would presuppose that would run the device nonstop.

I am consistently pleased with the results and with the device.
