My Severin DK 1013 chimed in with the small hob from not at the zero position of the knob, but only when you unplug the power cord. After complaining Amazon sent a new disk of the same type. In this second hotplate shows the same problem - the small hob remains - once turned on - so long hot until the power plug is pulled. The knobs are without rotating grid resistance to light.
