How can you live without? most essential equipment

The very valuable processed undstrapazierfähige Lastolite Ezybox SPEEDLITE for me is simply the outdoor softbox for system flashes. For any requests that you may have on such a softbox, are perfectly satisfied:

+ Dramatically improved light guide
+ Very homoges and soft light
+ Very nice neutral shade of white
+ Simple and fast assembly
+ Off-camera flash (IR) is again possible (radio anyway)
+ Quite small, lightweight and very robust

Detailed:
Light: with two diffusers obtains a perfectly homogeneous illumination, the brightness is absolutely uniformly over the entire front surface. The flash slowdown is then quite accurately 1 full level (depending on the flash / zoom position). The light has a nice neutral-white color, so you can in daylight (WB) from full sun to be used Shade easily. Without the internal diffuser, the illumination is less homogeneous, which indeed may be desired. It Goes to the zoom position of the flash more by that of dependent attenuation is at about 1/3 level only slightly.

Note: All the little "toy diffusers" are absolutely no comparison, since it depends again on the distance from the flash of the effect (double effect even better) and of course on the size of the front face. Why are studio softbox well as large?

Is easier than it sounds. And the flash head is kept remarkably well and stable even in impossible directions rotated / tilted.

The structure is so fast and delivers such good results that I also really like (and surprisingly often) used in the mobile studio. After all, much easier to build than 2 studio flashes plus tripods and larger soft boxes, let alone take.

Conclusion: great for portraits, wildlife and macro both in the field as in the (mobile) Studio. On the camera like (for even better results) unleashed easily usable.
