XL XL really means here. I am 200cm tall and the thing fits made for me. Only the abdomen is (thankfully) too far (but does not matter because the belt together with codpiece holds everything together and the robe velvet robe completes the picture). The helmet is incredibly huge and fits perfectly. But for smaller people I see black. Tiefschwarz. My first thought was: "What have itself because only thereby intended to make a costume that fits only for 2m great people?". My second was: "Super I've never seen a costume suits me.". Given the price I would have liked a higher quality storage box for the costume: the box is huge but only a "Oller" box. I had serious concerns about the packaging, to have made a huge mistake: to have so incredibly much money on a toy box with, yes just paid toys. On the other hand also suits or expensive clothes only be delivered in a box even. So is probably in order. The leatherette Vader suit looks good but is hot as hell: plastic, padded, high-necked from ankle to neck, no vents, bomb densely back zipper. Front for emergencies have hidden an opening. A must Vader times Pippi ... :-) The robe and the cloak are huge and pretty hard (difficult if the huge size. The cloak is sewn circle of six segments, the material quality is rather poor, so rather thin and just only polyester . Effective but good). The cape is enough for me almost to the ground. Madness. Toll. Gloves provide a bit small but still fit and with all seams. Schick. But also very hot in it. Also just plastic. Shoulder pads fits perfectly and looks great. The heavy coat / cape drags something on shoulder pads, but since the tank sits quite well with me (and of course a lot of contact with shoulders and chest has), it is quite stable. Belt is made of plastic and but still looks convincing. I had to cut something, so is suitable for official Kaventsmänner. Lights on the belt (casket) are good, but the battery contacts are worthless. Constant failures could only be remedied by improvisation (unworthy for a costume this price league) by Aluminiumfolienstückchen (inserted between the battery and contact). Greaves of plastic, quite cramped it is when tightening with boots (not included), the zipper goes only very gently, but great look. Jock strap looks a bit verbastelt in the middle, but functional. Breast computer very great, but the lights flash too fast and the whole thing sits oddly deep. Height of chest computer can not be changed, which are guided through holes in the prescribed tightening the suspension belts. Does not matter. The helmet is huge, two-piece, lined with foam inside, has a strap to tighten on the head, has glossy and matte surfaces, the eye lenses look quite cheap, the shape of the helmet looks distorted and stretched (at the neck), the tips of the jaw are Metal (very nice). A mini speaker with the breathing sound is glued into the helmet and can (hidden as the glove) with a cable and a button at the end to be activated. The noise sounds good, but is not "original".
Summary: Much plastic, hot as hell in it, but a very, very impressive performance is guaranteed (because if one fits into the costume). Only in the winter or in air-conditioned areas seriously crazy portable. In the summer after five minutes is the lining of the suit with sweat squeaky wabbelvoll, six minutes sees nothing through the misted from inside the welding helmet, after seven minutes, the soup of the gloves is running out, and after ten minutes you are not sure more really healthy and responsive, to put it very mildly. Not for parties, therefore suitable eg pubs courses because too hot and too little vision through the helmet. Also you can just sit down with all the bad stuff, etc. Not to mention of "hand washing". Also this is all not just loaded (is only plastic and not leather / fiberglass). With respect to the impression which the costume makes: No comparison with any Kinderkostümchen, consisting of a half-mask, printed shirts and square Filzmäntelchen. But certainly not a 1: 1 replica of any "real" Vader-prop but really great. Given the whole plastic the pricing seems ambitious, highly ambitious, but the sum of the parts and the incredible size make up for it and just a lot of fun. "Worth every penny!" Said an acquaintance to me whether the amazingly impressive optics.
