Used as pure data drive, as GPT disks initialized (not MBR) no problems.
(For booting I use an SSD)
As data grave with 5400-7200 r / min fast enough, the device but now takes days ....
Formatting, Self Test with gsmartcontrol, TrueCrypt formatting fully write, and verify: everything about each 9h-12h ...
Am positively surprised by the modesty of the drive:
Manufacturer's specification: 3.4W idle, 5.3 W operation. (See to the details WD40EZRX: 3,3W - 4,5W.).
Since even need the 5TB Seagate significantly more (ST5000DM000: 5.0 / 7.5W)

I run my computer open under the table. The hard drive is in standby rushes softly (perceptible, but does not bother me, but had been quieter), but you "clicks" no. Neither gegelentlich.
