I was and am disappointed to say the least. Although there are quite a total inter essate Intepretationen, but always I have at each work a minimum Interpration which I find better. As an example of this is the recently released CD of Zhu Xia Mei particular called "The Art of Fugue". What a soft never boring nascent flow of the music! Or if the ballads of Brahms Gould (very strict) or Schubert D960 recordings of Pollini or Ashkenazy. Maybe you have to experience Mr. Sokolov Live can understand the almost heavenly reviews. But what in my opinion is not a question of taste, is the only entirely satisfactory to adequate sound quality. Most often, the piano sounds much too thin. I love to hear that so no fun.
