Here is my most important criteria:
- SW printer, a color laser you need private enough.
- Own intelligence, not a GDI printer (instead PCL 6, PostScript 3)
- LAN port (USB or WLAN I find quite impractical)
- Duplex (for paper saving)
- Reasonably small footprint
- Closed paper cassette (no dusting)
- ADF (automatic sheet feeder)
- Copy function
- Quiet operation (. In 15dec it prints from a deep sleep, which is really great, as it lies dormant for a minute.)
- AirPrint
- Scan function (scan to a UNC path is not mgl, for the scanning software is very comfortable, even the automatic scan feeder works over LAN..)
- Cheaper toner (the toner TN-2320, there are now also third-party for half price.)
- Web interface (with the very simple web interface can be held make all settings.)
I can recommend it without reservation.
