I specified that the cable was not working with my old XP ... ultimately, it is the disk that was being let go ... nothing works ... but with a new disc, everything is well currently.
The connection to the disk that can not be locked, you just be a little careful, and dual USB is somewhat penalizing when we must simultaneously connect other devices.
