Then came the offer: PS Vita plus Battle Royale for 149.00 (LittleBigPlanet then there was still nothing in retrospect). These Uncharted and Gravity Rush for umme for PS + members.
So how the PS Vita joins the ranks of available "consoles"?
- IPhone: I play only if nothing else here, actually just any puzzle games
- IPad: Is almost completely to become Adventure Player
- PS Vita: While not always there, but lighter than the iPad and for every action games with real buttons just much better. Moreover, there is nothing comparable for example to Uncharted iOS
- PS3: When the TV is free - but if it is occupied, then iPad or more often the PS Vita.
- PC: is hardly any time for
The niche is therefore found, at a price, of whom I had barely think, mainly because the investment in other games can wait for now. Sure, who would have only the PS Vita and a lot of time, which would eventually spend the games. But to whom does this happen?
Even compared to the 3DS XL: Have RE Revelations played through and was impressed, so good the PS Vita hardware is not yet exploited. But that is of course better by nature and as for control and screen, is clearly superior to the PS Vita. But is probably more of a faith decision.
The Future: After the above-mentioned games come first Ninja Gaiden, Resistance, Liberation AC, Most Wanted, Sine Mora, Sly Cooper, Ratchet and hopefully Warriors Lair. Since the Vita just does not stand alone, that should be enough to get through to 2013.
I think the hardware itself has already been said enough, this review is more on the "PS Vita has no Games" or "Why do I still need a console, I have indeed a tablet / smartphone" mantras targeted. It is not for everyone, but for PS + subscribers a bargain, even if you missed the cybermonday.
