My iPad Mini Retina fit in easily and is well protected from rain and dirt. BUT, the edges of the bag've been frayed when buying. With a lighter I could remedy this shortcoming. Furthermore, the back is light padding, but not amplified except in the area around the intake. So my iPad is always pretty loaded into the holder during locking, so now I have it in a sturdy shell in the bag. As I said, for the price I expected more care.
