The waiting was worth it, because I was able to purchase the print server at a moderate price Sch! Installation proved to Windows7 as children's and from my Pixma IP 4950 are now even on the wireless router to which the print server is connected, transmits the ink levels correctly! That was the general problem of all other devices that I used previously. Now I can use the printer as a full network printer and have at all times to keep track of ink levels and printer status. Even waking the printer from sleep mode works smoothly and is displayed as if it is directly connected to the laptop. Delivery and packaging was very good and even the correction of shipping address when package service went smoothly after I noticed an error there that would have prevented the fragmentation and reassembly.
