I liked this novel for black atmosphere and "foggy" Ireland is very well done: detailed study of the country, its traditions and legends. The pointed description of Franco-Irish police relationships shows that the author worked his subject in detail. The nervous style, the suspense until the end make me consider this novel as the "high end" of crime fiction.
