CD Review:
I'm still not a big folk insider, but the music did to me for a long time. A CD as "Sigh No More" is a is, I've never fallen into the fingers.
Already the first track "Sigh No More" takes after initial melodic part, the back again properly ride on. "The Cave" the song is to sing along - every singe / I gröhle loudly with the car, because this one nothing else remains. The next song "Winter Winds" increasingly comes the banjo to the train - fits tip to the trumpet (hope it's a :-). "Roll Away Your Stone" is on the gas and the interplay between guitar and piano is a perfect blend. So now my tip: "White Blank Page" - especially the text has much Sentimales in itself. A great song !!! "I Gave You All" follows on seamlessly from and generated with the gentle guitar sound a very nice atmosphere, but also something sad in itself. Well, the "little lion-Man" and "Little Lion Man" brings back swing on the disc, caution - risk catchy !! :-) "Timshel" - wonderfully melodic and low speed, but very non-positive and expressive - out tip! "Thistle & Weeds" stands out slightly from the rest of the songs, which was beginning to get used to for me, but with time I like the songs getting better. Similar to "Sign No More", the tenth title "Awake My Soul" begins quietly before he receives from the middle Temp. "Dust Bowl Dance" brings the drummer in the foreground, great drummer, I can only say. The conclusion of the CD forms "After the storm". A really, really worthy song for the last title of the disc. Sentimental from the first until the last second, but it gets under your skin and has also lyrically beautiful passages (excerpt: "And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears And love will not break your heart. , but dismiss your fears. Get over your hill and see what you find there, With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair. ")
CONCLUSION:
BUY - BUY - BUY !!!
I since four weeks stop the CD now, every time I go into the Work or home (30 minutes) and I can not get enough. I hope we will hear a lot of Mumford & Sons, because this band is an absolute rising star in the folk scene.
I can only advise every folk lovers - buys this CD and support this type of hand-made music !!!
