+ Thanks to current FW update (10/09), the camera is equipped with a free-hand (1Bild) HDR mode - although> one must almost always finishing (saturation), but the results are awesome!
The tidy and clear menu provides, in that you also may combine with each other all the settings, a huge room for personal taste and creativity. The camera has, for example, over several image styles, called "Filmmodis" to which one can be set for each individual contrast, saturation, sharpness and noise reduction in each 5 levels, assign. These can then be still in the Quick menu Gegenlichtkorrekur, ISO speed, white balance (manually correctable), etc. change in a hurry. On top of that you can from all this settings using the appropriate menu item to its own mode (up to 4 !, C1 = 1, C2 = 3) compile and save these. This is then directly accessible via the above dial. All settings are displayed before saving as LiveView whose brightness adapts to ambient light on the large, crystal-clear display.
Due to the light intensity and good stability even night images, like a gas station or shopping arcade, free-hand with the lowest ISO level possible. Thus it leaves the former "Queen of the Night", the F31fd, loosely behind. Long exposures up to 60 seconds allows images in near-total darkness.
Thanks to the 16: 9 video mode (called HD) comes on while watching cinema feeling. Better video quality I have not seen before. However, this applies only to the pure image quality, because the film is not quite 100% runs smoothly. While it is not bucking, but you "feel" just yet, the image sequence. The reason are the 24, instead of 30 frames per second, as with some other cameras yes quite common, which is certainly a compromise to good movie picture quality. The movie mode can also be adjusted in a variety of formats and quality levels.
The only thing I was skeptical before buying, is the meager 2.5x zoom. But fortunately you can also be satisfied. The ranges namely, except for chronic Zoogänger or Vogi-clippers completely out! Furthermore, good image quality can be further enlargements.
With the theme of RAW development I will never deal as me which appears much too expensive (because of the file sizes). Who will be familiar with it, as seen in the DSLR forum can still get more out, but the Out of the cam JPGs are really already top notch.
The only thing is getting used to, is that you have to remove the lens cap before taking pictures. This can, however, be described differently than elsewhere, even in the dark or in heavily inebriated condition, very easily put on and off.
Otherwise still: very good workmanship and almost everything, or at least felt, made of metal. Only battery door and the switch from recording to preview are from plastic. This slide switch is also attached still wobbly. However, it requires him not always, because you get a single short preview with a hot key. The accessory comes with a neck strap made of leather, which allows you to carry the camera around your neck. Thus, then no belt bag is required, which I always found annoying.
For those without a PC Währe still interesting that, in addition to the blank, in the camera can align the horizon.
Charging the battery takes about 1.5 hours and the no-name battery with the white sticker here on Amazon of mobile Now brings approximately 220 images.
Those who want to gain an overview of all the functions, the PDF should download at Panasonic.

Edit: after months, I came by chance to the automatic white balance adjustment. Accessible via the Quick Menu of white balance selection. Then, instead of the cross chart to adjust these just press OK and the camera is perfect, what remains is then stored as long as an independent WA until new calls the menu. Thus, all discussions regarding reddish pictures / faces by lamplight superfluous. More detailed information on the camera in the DSLR forum.
