The Wiko is processed perfectly, no unpleasant edges and looks far from cheap. End cover off SIM card inside (second were possible), go to battery and going. The battery has been summoned to about 60%, enough to set things up in peace, without having to depend equally on the line.
The usual Android installation process followed, set gooogle account, enable Wi-Fi etc.
I was immediately offered a firmware update, which was done quickly. Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) is installed.
This Wiko with his only 512MB of memory proves that KitKat delivers what it promises! KitKat is namely less hardware-hungry than its predecessor (Jelly Bean), that is, devices with relatively weak hardware and enough memory to run still very fluid.
Exactly that makes the Wiko! It runs absolutely smoothly, so far no hangers or long waits.
The Apps install therefore went Rip-Rip and working on a quite bright and fairly sharp display, of course, not comparable with more expensive smartphones, but perfectly adequate, unless you're deliberately "pixel search" goes.
Voice quality speakers all pleasant and clean. The photo quality is not sooo bad, but of course not comparable to that of higher priced smartphones. For snapshots in daylight it was good enough.
My conclusion: all great value for money, not only for beginners, but also for people who do not necessarily want to play elaborate games and all day need to look at the display / want.
